There are many ways to track someone, all steps involve using the person’s phone to install a tracker app that you can make yourself or download it from the Google Play store.
There is no way to track someone on Google Map if they have not shared their location with you, you can still however, without their knowledge, get their phone to share their location with you, which is not condoned, however, for the purpose of educating mobile users, here is how to share someone’s location without them knowing.
- The First step is to grab their phone without them knowing, this could be in their sleep or while checking out something on their phone.
- Open ‘settings’ enable location service or simply location on settings.
- While still on the target phone, go to Google Maps, on the right side of the search bar, is the account’s icon, tap on it.
- Next tap on ‘Location sharing’.
- Tap on ‘Share Location’
- Enable ‘Until you turn this off’.
- Below will be a list of email addresses, click on your email address and tap ‘share’.
Do note, that your email address has to have been used by the target before, this makes you their ‘contact’.
If not already a contact, quickly send an email to your account from the target’s phone.
The target’s location should show up on your Google Map, once all the steps are followed.
This is a way to keep track of a child’s location or spouse’s location without them having to know, they may notice that the ‘location’ service is turned on, on their mobile phone, but apart from that, all is good.
